In turn, the Government of Andalusia Department of Social Inclusion, Youth, Family and Equality has approved the Andalusia + Accessible Programme, a subsidy for local entities that promotes universal accessibility and the elimination of architectural and urban barriers in buildings, facilities and equipment and public spaces. This aid is provided within the framework of the Recovery, Transformation and Resilience Plan financed by the European Union Next Generation Funds.
Who can apply for them?
To be able to access this type of aid subsidies to improve accessibility in housing 2023, you will need to meet a series of minimum requirements. General Elevadores will then provide you with the necessary information, if this is your case, to enable you to apply for this aid to help improve the accessibility of your home.
→ In the case of the Programme to promote conservation and to improve safety of use and accessibility in housing, the minimum requirements are:
- Single-family homes, homes within a collective residential building and buildings.
- Length of time preferably before 1996.
- 70% of the surface area of the buildings dedicated to residential use.
- 50% of the building's homes must be habitual residences.
→ Regarding the Programme to promote housing for the elderly the disabled, and people with disabilities, the following requirements must be met
- Be over 65 years of age or have a disability.
- Have income of less than 5 times IPREM (coexistence unit).
- Not own a home.
- Possess assets of less than € 200,000
- Rental/assignment price in use per month: up to €9.5/m² housing.
Finally, with regard to the Andalusia + Accessible Programme, Municipalities, Provinces, Associations of Municipalities, Local Administrative Public Agencies and Local Entities can also apply, provided they:
- Have scope of activity in the Autonomous Community of Andalusia.
- They own the property or, where applicable, have its availability for a minimum period of 5 years.
- They are parties to the Andalusian Agreement for Accessibility until the application submission deadline.
- Have a drafted Accessibility Plan which includes the purpose of the action to be subsidised.
